Six settlement steps

After step 6, extra goals arrive by text: use a self-service rental car, reach level 2 in a civilian job.
Starting the first civilian job
Eat the Civic Support Center → pick a job. The GPS guides you to the work site.- Jobs that need a tool (mining, fishing): without the tool, the GPS goes to a seller first.
- Quickest job: scavenging (no tool).
Eat a search spot. - Sell the finds at the buyer.
First night
Storage and rest: a motel room. $40 a day, 1–7 days paid in advance. See page 12.
